The AVCC swimming facility offers a six (6) lane, 25
meter competition swimming pool and a tot pool for toddlers. The AVCC pool is
also home to the AVCC Swim Team with 70+ swimmers and is one of the best swim
programs in Birmingham. Private and group instruction is available for the
non-swimmer. The swimming facility also boasts a snack bar and large men's and
women's locker rooms with showers. The swim facility is open
seven days a week from Memorial Day until Labor Day and is also available for
rental for private parties such as birthdays, anniversaries or other special
occasions. The pool may close
