The Tennis Facility at AVCC consists of four (4) rubico tennis courts and two (2) hard courts (all lighted for convenient night play.) The tennis and swimming facility share a 2275 square foot club house that offers a tennis pro shop, snack bar and men's and ladies showers and lockers. The tennis facility also has two observation decks and a gazebo for gathering spots to watch match play or a quiet place to relax after playing.

Beginners Clinic: Ages 6-12. 9:00 am - 10:30 am, Monday - Thursday. Friday is a make-up day if necessary for inclement weather.

Cost:

1 day  $20 per week

2 days   $36 per week

3 days  $52 per week

4 days  $60 per week

  Intermediate/Advanced Clinic: Ages 10-16. 10:30 am - 12:30 pm, Monday - Thursday. Friday is a make-up day if necessary for inclement weather.

Cost:

1 day  $30 per week

2 days  $56 per week

3 days  $78 per week

4 days  $90 per week

Deadline to sign up for Junior Clinics is the Friday before every week.

• Summer Kickoff Ladies Tournaments (usually in May)

Levels: LITL/Soft court Levels 2.5-5.0

Draw: Compass Draw with prizes for tournament winners and runner-ups.

Cost: $50 per player

Drawings for door prizes will be held Saturday evening

Khairy (Cairo) Wasfy—Director of Tennis

Cairo came to AVCC in June 2007, from Highland Racket Club.  He was also a full-time  broker for Smith Barney.  Cairo  moved to the United States in August of 1996 from Cairo, Egypt.  Before the move to the U.S., Cairo played for the Egyptian Davis Cup Team.  Cairo also played for the University of West Florida 1996-2000, and was named Southern Senior player of the year in 2000.  Cairo was inducted into the University of West Florida Sports Hall of fame in 2008.
